Leaders Training
The rural communities in Colombia's coffee-growing regions need leaders. Leaders to work and fight for their communities and leaders to partner with each other for everyone's benefit. To address this vital need, we developed a leadership training program to help prepare rural leaders for the issues their communities are likely to face and to give them the foundation of team work and knowledge needed to effectively work with local businessmen, universities and governments to make sure that their communities are getting what they need.
Health Brigades
We created health brigades to train rural communities on the simple, preventative health care basics that have a huge impact on quality of life. Beyond training, our health brigades provide basic checkups and professional care for dental, general medicine and family planning while in the rural communities.
